Congratulations 2019 Bioinformatics Graduate Award Winners!
Anastasia Gurinovich, PhD & Demarcus Briers, PhD were each awarded the Community Outreach Award. This award is presented annually to recognize an outstanding student(s) who exemplifies the mission of Boston University and the Bioinformatics Program, by demonstrating a commitment to promoting community engagement and scientific outreach.
Andrew Hamel, MS was awarded the Masters Scholar Award. This award is presented annually to a graduating student in the Master’s Program in Bioinformatics. Based on outstanding academic record and contributions in the field of Bioinformatics.
Joshua Klein, PhD was awarded the Outstanding Publication Award. This award is presented annually in recognition of an outstanding publication record since joining the graduate program.
Joshua Goldford, PhD was awarded the Charles DeLisi Doctoral Dissertation Award. This award is presented annually in recognition of an outstanding doctoral dissertation in the Graduate Program in Bioinformatics. It was named after the founder of the Graduate Program in Bioinformatics, and is made possible by a generous gift from Prof. DeLisi.
