Bioinformatics Students Place 2nd and 3rd in the 2017 IBSB Poster Session

Two groups of Bioinformatics Ph.D. students placed in the Poster Session at the 2017 IBSB in Berlin! Dakota Hawkins, Xingyi Shi, and William Hackett took 2nd Place for their Challenge Project Poster, "Subpopulation Discovery During Patterning-Induced Developmental Diversification in Sea Urchin Embryos via Single-Cell RNA-Seq." Emma Briars, Sebastian Carrasco Pro, and Steve Cunningham took 3rd Place for their Challenge Project Poster as well, titled "Interactive Tools for Clustering & Characterization of Single Cell RNA Sequencing Data." Congratulations!
